The Ultrafreezer has successfully passed the ThermoKing GDP Validation Protocol and now it can be used in Australia for new applications. DFAT, Federal Health and Palladium are the first in Australia to get the Ultrafreezer.
What is the ThermoKing Validation Protocol?
This protocol covers the four stages of qualification of the GDP guideline:
- Design Qualification
- Installation Qualification
- Operational Qualification
- Performance Qualification
This was validated by an independent pharmaceutical consultant company, Baggerman Pharma Consult. Following the validation, the Ultrafreezer has been verified and certified to be in line with the EU Guideline of Good Distribution Practices of medical products for human usage (GDP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

With the addition of this certification, our customers can now use our fleet of containers with special freezing capabilities of up to -65 C for the distribution of vaccines and other products in relation to international conveyance.
